Frankenstein monster portrait by Steve Veatch
Frank II
Acrylic and chalk on Arches cover

Why a suit and tie? Well, for two reasons. One, there are monsters out there dressed as such. Two, wouldn't you rather have such danger dressed in a custom tailored, 5k Gucci suit?

Now, very now, there are Mormons traversing your neighborhood in suits, though wearing much poorer than Gucci suits. They come to your door looking more like mafioso, then come at you with a smiley face. The smiley face delivers the hope that you also will believe that Joseph Smith, sitting in an upstate New York wilderness, saw a salamander go down a hole, put his hand in after it, and pulled out holy writ, some say on gold tablets.

Did the Frankenstein monster have any religion?
